Here you will find a variety of handmade egg ornaments and egg art all made using a wax resist method. This method uses wax and dyes to create the art on real egg shells. These are sometimes known as Pysanky or more commonly "Ukrainian Easter Eggs".

Each piece is hand made and therefore unique. Even if I am making multiples of the same design, I do everything by hand without stencils or templates and so each one can be slightly different, which is the nature of art. I use a variety of colors of chicken eggs as well as duck, turkey,goose eggs and even emu eggs.
